Os japoneseses fizeram fila para poder comprar no primeiro minuto do sábado (26), ainda sexta-feira (25) no Brasil, o novo portátil da Nintendo, o Nintendo 3DS. O aparelho que chega aos Estados Unidos no dia 27 de março por US$ 250, apresenta imagens em 3D sem a necessidade de usar óculos especiais. No Oriente, ele custa 25 mil ienes.

Desde a noite de sexta-feira o público japonês já formava fila em frente às lojas de tecnologia do bairro de Akihabara, em Tóquio, para poder comprar o portátil. Toyohisa Ishihara, de 43 anos, foi o primeiro comprador a colocar as mãos na novidade e posar para fotos.

O Nintendo 3DS é o sucessor do portátil Nintendo DS. Além de rodar games em 3D em sua tela especial, trazendo imagens com maior sensação de profundidade, o aparelho pode fotografar imagens tridimensionais.

O videogame portátil apresenta duas telas, uma superior no formato widescreen com capacidade de reproduzir imagens em 800 x 240 pixels, no caso, duas de 400 x 240 pixels para passar a sensação de 3D estereoscópico. A tela inferior é sensível ao toque e tem resolução de 320 por 240 pixels. Ele apresenta um botão Home que permite deixar os jogos em segundo plano para acessar o menu principal, tal como ocorre na função multitasking dos aparelhos com sistema operacional iOS. Ele também possui um controle analógico no formato de disco, sensor de movimento e giroscópio.

Um dos destaques do aparelho é o Street Pass. Ele permite a troca de informações entre dois Nintendo 3DS que se aproximam em um raio de 30 metros. Será possível trocar o Mii, o avatar do jogador nas plataformas Nintendo, além de dados de games. Um podômetro acompanha os passos dos jogadores durante o dia e, dependendo da distância caminhada, pode habilitar novos itens em jogos. Tudo fica registrado no Activity Log, assim como quais jogos o usuário jogou e por quanto tempo.

No pacote virá um cartão SD de 2 GB, seis cartões para usar e jogos de realidade aumentada, uma base para recarregar o aparelho e uma caneta stylus. De acordo com a Nintendo, a bateria do aparelho que a bateria funcione entre 3 a 5 horas. Sem o 3D, de 5 a 8 horas. Mas o consumo de energia depende do nível do brilho da tela e do uso da conexão Wi-Fi.

Entre os programas, o  portátil traz "Nintendo 3DS Camera", editor de imagens; "Nintendo 3DS Sound", editor de som, "Mii Maker", programa de criação dos Miis que utiliza uma foto do jogador, "AR Games", jogos de realidade aumentada (AR) que usam os cartões especiais; e "Face Raiders"
", que cria um game de AR com o rosto dos amigos, exigindo que o jogador ande pela sala atirando contra eles.
